TROUBLE COMES IN THREES
So here I am, Mike never has anything to say. (Hahaha ) End of May, end of school, memorial day, then the trouble starts. Actually, I should say, service begins. When the Elders called to see if the Relief Society could cook a meal for Zone conference, I said sure, when. Well, they picked the best week! Tuesday, May 26, (Happy Birthday Becky) I said yes of course. then on Thurdsay, May 28, I have the blood drive. Work Coming your way Brady! Friday is Stake Temple Day, Saturday Stake Conference with a dinner for the priesthood brethern, fixed by the Relief Society, and Sunday Stake Conference. Then to add to my joys, the Bishop calles me in sunday, pleading for help. Everyone has told him no. But the girls and young woman's president needs help. Ok, how about camp director? Camp is on June 9-13. Well but there is just a problem with that, Bishop, I have a Stake Relief Society Enrichment day on the 13. So Skip girls camp after the noon meal on friday, because we have to feed the stake! and prepare to feed the bishopric and wives coming up for friday night. Sometimes I look forward to the rest time in the grave or is that rest time? Is that three things? I lost count. Catch you on the other side of June!

Pandemic Helps!
I just thought I would give you a few tips for the new and up-coming Pandemic Flu that seems to be going around.
Disinfectant of Vinegar & Hydrogen peroxide
Susan S., a food scientist worked out a recipe for a great and safe sanitizing combo. All you
need us three % hydrogen Peroxide(dis-infecting wounds) and plain white vinegar, and two spray bottles. To clean fruit or vegetables, just spray them well first with the vinegar and then the hydrogen peroxide, and then rinse them off under running water. These two work exceptionally well in sanitizing counters, cutting boards, door knobs, steering It is very strong and is used for any wheels. In tests, we found that pairing the two mists and all plagues.
killed virtually all Salmonella, E. Colli bacteria and Shigella on contaminated food or surfaces when used in this fashion, making this spray more effective than chlorine bleach or any any commercial cleanser. The best results came when using on mist right after the other. Do not mix the two together but keep in separate bottles!

Dr. Schultz (Ruth's)Super Tonic
put the following in a blender: handful of cut-up horseradish root, white onion, ginger root, garlic, Hot peppers(Habanra), add apple cider vinegar to cover. Cover with wax paper and lid. The older it becomes, the more powerful it becomes. Take it by teaspoon, or tablespoon if the plague comes along.

From the traveling DR. RUTH
Well, after asking the computer-knowledgeable one to help make a new entry, I decided I would try it myself. I left on tuesday(Jan. 27) to help Darrin & Mandy with kids while Darrin was having one of his "stone-babies". Mandy was sick with the strep throat and feeling down and out. So I got the kids form Grandma Owings on my way over to Eagle Mountain. We went our separate ways the next morning, after a map from Darrin on how to get Remy to school. Remy knows the way, he can help. But when we got to the first turn, Remy said you have to go up the hill, so up the hill I went. "Grandma, I think you are going the wrong way. It is by a church." Right in front of me was a church, so I turn. Much further and I would have been in Alpine! A bus! Follow it! School signs! We're getting close! oh but it's a;pine Jr. High. More looking at the map, more driving. Oh look we found three more schools but, they weren't the right ones! But we did find alpine Jr. High a few times. Well, call the wife of the man that drew the map! No, answer. Drive some more, more schools but no Shelly elementary. And in the back seat, "Grandma , I think you are going the wrong way"! Oh thank you the phone is ringing, and the map drawer tell me a few more directions. Finally I find the school, but then Remy is only 45 minutes late. "Grandma, you have to take me to the office and tell them you got lost". The lady was very nice to me and I didn't have to sign my name! "Meet you back here in a few hours, Remy! So I take the road back the way I was supposed to go, so I know how to get back to pick up Remy again. I made it back, got Remy and head out for Eagle Mountain. Thursday, Darrin went with me; he said to get out of the house, or was it to make sure Remy wasn't late again! Mandy feeling somewhat better, went back with us to get Remy. We had just started shopping in Costco, when Tate had a few problems and was complaining of his back hurting. Called the Dr. who said come as soon as you can. Then He sent Tate to Mt. Timpanogas Hospital for sono-gram. Stones, Appendix, for Kidney Infection? Meet Lori for drink and cookies. Headed home with Remy. Headed back to Orem, when Lori called to take us out to dinner. It was yummy! Headed back home to Eagle Mountain with the car full of sick people, Darrin,dog-tired, Mandy, strepth,Tate, Kidney infection and Remy saying his throat hurt. After delivering a car full of tired and sick people, Dr. Ruth headed to Lehi for the next visit, the Baird family. It was great to see who I could and maybe I can catch the rest another time. Signing off , for this trial on the blog. Dr. Ruth Always a pleasure to serve! love to all!!! May health, the Lord and His blessings be with you all!

Christmas Without Parents

It started Christmas Eve, when Dad & Mom went to the hospital so Darrin could pass his 10 kidney stones! They were going to let him out, then no , then yes, and finally NO! But Remy and Tate did have a support group of Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and cousin at home, and Christmas went on without Mom & Dad. Here are the three cousins, with Christmas Trees and piles (well not quite yet) of presents. And here is the family resting in a chair, while dad rests in his hospital bed. Hope Dad and Mom had as much fun as we did! We had lots of fun, laughs, messes, food and stockings. It was a Christmas to remember! Hope you find your stockings Darrin & Mandy!? he he

$150 Turkey!
This Thanksgiving was a real bad Turkey. After spending and eating turkey at my brother Glen's house, we went back to Darrin& Mandy's, however I had to stop at Smith's for a few things and was later getting there. When I did there was NO WHERE on the street to park! However here was a house with a for sale sign on it. but you know sometimes, people still live there even if there is a sign. Further up the road a few houses was a house with a for rent sign, and after seeing no lights on, or cars in the drive way, I decided to park in the driveway. I asked Mandy if anyone was living there and the answer was a no. Well about 1 1/2 hours later , Mike went to the car to get his pills, only he couldn't find the car. You know how men are, you have to show them. Well when I went to show him, I couldn't find it either. Darrin and Mandy joined in the search. We found lights on in the basement at the house, but no one home, and the for rent sign was down. Black skid marks were in the driveway where the car used to be. Had I forgotten to lock the doors? Nope! Had somebody stolen it? Well we went back and called the police to report a stolen car. Also called the owner of the house for rent and left a message. We found it had been towed! Of course it was closed for the night and we could pick it up in the morning for cash to the Turkey tune of $150. Happy Thanksgiving! One to remember! Ruth thought for sure divorce papers were in the making. Then on our way to pick up the Trailblazer, we were rear-ended by a woman excited about her Black Friday shopping and talking on her cell phone! Brady and Mike jumped out to check things out, but, fortunately the bumpers matched and no damage done. Was this really our black Friday? With two counts against us, a it could have been worse!
